March

I'm not quite sure where this last month has gone.   The summer like weather has allowed us to get outside quite a bit and we had two weekends with visitors.  Mom and Dad Terpstra, along with Brandon's sister Cara, braved the tornado warnings and made a trip down earlier this month.   We had a wonderful visit with them and were able to explore downtown Franklin.  On that note, I have found the one thing I really dislike about Nashville so far and that is tornado warnings.

Checking out deer w/ Papa outside of Franklin

Myles got his first hair cut.  He seems like such a boy and not a baby now.  I suppose the fact that he can climb out of his crib and open almost all of our doors has contributed to that.

He was so proud of his truck/car train

This solved the question of how he kept finding pacifiers

Touch a Truck exhibit - St. Patty's Day festival @ Charlie Daniels Park
I tried to get him to stay still and look at me for a picture but that just wasn't going to happen.

Testing out my painting abilities - Palates and Paintbrushes @ HHBC

Brandon's friend Mike was able to visit for a short weekend.  It was great to see him.  Mike and his wife Amanda are the couple we went to visit in Panama two years ago.

Watching some Elmo and earning brownie points with Myles.

Downtown Nashville

To end the month we went to Stones River National Battlefield for a hike and little history lesson.

Myles was more interested in picking up rocks then anything else

One note:  If you're going to allow your child to feed himself spaghetti don't give him a bath before dinner because you will end up bathing him twice that day :)

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter!

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.   Matthew 28:6

Hallelujah!!!
